The Maryland Jockey Club is offering a Preakness Future Win Wager Pool as part of our Preakness 151 celebration.

The Preakness Future Win Wager is a separate wagering pool that involves “WIN” wagering on the Preakness Stakes. The winner of this pool will be determined based on the official results of the Preakness Stakes, which will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The Maryland Jockey Club has scheduled the wagering pool to open on Friday, April 24th, at 12:00pm, and to close on Saturday, May 2nd, at 6:00pm. After the official results of the 2026 Preakness Stakes are released, the distribution of winning wagers will be made.

These wagers have a $2.00 minimum bet value, a takeout of 18% and are “conducted” on their own card, event code PFW.
