The Art of Racing—a nationwide art competition that has become a cherished tradition in celebrating Thoroughbred racing and the iconic Preakness Stakes. Since its inception four years ago, this competition has awarded $12,000 in prizes and attracted more than 500 artists of all ages who have shared their artistic interpretations of this historic sporting event. The competition showcases original, two-dimensional artwork to a global audience, connecting the artistry and athleticism that defines the Preakness Stakes.
